Mackenzie Childs I love you.

I should really be mad at my mom for ever showing Mackenzie Childs because it's become an obsession of mine and my college butt can't buy any of it! Thank goodness for wonderful husbands, mothers and mother in-laws who will surprise me for Christmas and Birthday presents...but those aren't coming again for 8 more months! Just have to wait and build up my christmas list. So here are the new items I am currently pining over.

The frame. The paper towel holder. The tile. The knob. The canister (with two other sizes that I love). The fun rug.

You should go to the website (www.mackenzie-childs.com) they have the funnest things! The courtly check is so classic and pretty and then they have so many fun floral designs I love it.

I must also mention that today (hopefully) we will be getting a new nephew!!! We are so dang excited! Little Beckham Cruze Sanovich will be here hopefully before the end of the day. Danny and I are so excited to get another nephew. We are just sad because Randy and Amber live in Florida so we are going to have to be patient to get to meet him. Hopefully they'll come home in a couple months. I'll post pics of the little guy when we see him!

Worst Morning Ever

So I had an Organic Chemistry test this morning. I have been preparing for this test for a while and have felt really prepared for it. Another thing I had scheduled for today was a meeting with the Associate Dean of Science, Greg Owens a.k.a. the most intimidating person to speak to, discussing him writing a letter of recommendation for me for pharmacy school. The test was at 8:35 and my appointment at around 9:30.

So here is the main point of my story. Last night I had this awesome Harry Potter dream. I have these pretty frequently and they are my absolute favorite. I woke up a couple of times but hadn't heard the alarm yet so went back to platform 9 3/4. Finally I woke up and it was 9:12!!!!! Not joking. I immediately through my phone across the room, because it misbehaved and did not sound the alarm to wake me up. Oh and apparently I smacked Danny in the stomach screaming, "it's 9:12!" I don't remember this...I think I suffer from rage blackouts. Anyways I send two frantic emails explaining what happened and rush to school to see if I can find the professor and convince her to let me take the test.

After some searching I find her after seeing me in my current state of hysteria she says, "Oh sweetheart what's wrong?" (I love the women Chemistry teachers who are just so sweet) Sobbing through the words, "I slept in" she stops me and says, "That's just fine, you can take it...just not like this. Go get a drink, take a half hour, calm down and then come back and take the test...no big deal." Biggest sigh of relief. I did just that. Got a drink, came back and took the test. Which I am happy to report I got a 94% on :)

So for those of you who saw my facebook status today that said, "Prof Holly Sebahar is a saint" you now know why.

Florida!

Danny and I are applying to schools this year and University of Florida is number one on our list of places we want to go.

Here are the reasons why

1-Danny's brother Randy and his family lives there
2-Disney World is there
3-the beach
4-the weather
5-Harry Potter land is there

So we went down over spring break to tour the school and meet some of the administration and try to convince them they should accept us :) It went really well, Danny worked in the Dental and Oral Surgery clinic for a few days which was really cool for him. I met and toured the hospital/school with one of the administrators and got some great one on one time with her. It was a very successful trip! And after the work was done we played...hard!

One day we went down this river that is a natural lazy river that you take tubes down and it takes like an hour and a half to get down. All of us went to go but Randy got called back to the hospital so while Amber took him back Danny and I took our niece Jaynie down the river. It was so much fun. She is 2 1/2 and the cutest dang thing you have ever seen. We had to go on this hike to get to the river. (Those of you who know me know that when I say hike I mean a 10 minute walk on a flat dirt trail) And Dan and I carried the tube and had Jaynie hold onto a rope so she could keep up and not run off. Every once and I while Danny had to stop and stretch because his back was hurting him. (also if you didn't know Danny had major back surgery a little over a year ago...he wasn't just being dramatic about the "hike") And sure enough after the first time that happened Jaynie looked at

Danny and said, "Uncle Danny I can't hold this rope anymore."
Danny-"How come Jaynie Bug?"
Jaynie- "It's hurting my back I need to rest for a minute."

So anyways we get on the river and it was so nice a relaxing. Until. I had the oars and was just making sure we didn't hit a tree on the edge of the river and managed to back us up onto a stick and popping a hole in our tube! We still had 45 minutes until we reached the end! It was a pretty small hole so Danny stuck his thumb in it and Jaynie and I rowed (spelling?) down the rest of the river! It was so funny and she was so excited that she was rowing all by herself. Too funny.

Then we went to Universal Studios one day to go to Harry Potter land which was the coolest thing ever. The butterbeer was to die for, the treats were delicious and the shopping was so fun!

Then we had an amazing day relaxing at clearwater beach. In love.

After being in Florida it makes us want to be able to go to school there so badly. So everyone cross your fingers for us!!!

Cruise Wrap-Up

Some final pictures of the cruise! We went on a zip line and I was SO scared but it was so much fun!

There was a slide at the end of the zip line that went into this water that was freezing!!!

It was such a fun trip and so relaxing!
